#ResistTrumpTuesdays continues

I believe that we can win. After thousands of users began to #deleteUber in protest of Uber’s collaboration with Trump’s anti-immigrant regime – Uber’s CEO finally agreed to quit Trump’s advisory council. And the biggest good news–following massive airport protests, a judge issued a temporary restraining order against Trump’s Muslim ban, allowing immigrants to return to their families and communities.

Now we’re one vote shy of stopping Betsy DeVos, Trump’s pick for education secretary who has devoted her multi-billionaire wealth to ending public education. Can you make calls tomorrow morning for our final press to sway the vote and dump DeVos?

Hundreds of us protested DeVos in Oakland last Tuesday. Now #ResistTrumpTuesdays continues by taking on another corporate Trump collaborator: JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, who sits on the advisory council that Uber’s CEO was forced to quit. Tell Chase: don’t bank with hate.

Trump’s latest executive order opens the way to cutting the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, put in place to prevent another financial meltdown and Great Recession. While the banks got bailed out, thousands of us lost their homes. It’s time we say: never again.

This #ResistTrumpTuesday, it’s urgent we demonstrate to Trump and Chase CEO Dimon that our banking system, like our healthcare and our public education, must be safeguarded, not sold off. Will you join us at Chase on Tuesday to stop Trump’s swamp from spreading?
