Free Hugo & Rodrigo, ICE Response Training

We marched on May Day for immigrant rights and we haven’t stopped. Last week, over two hundred people rallied outside the San Francisco ICE building to protest the unjust detainment of fathers, workers, and community volunteers Hugo and Rodrigo. Seven people who occupied ICE to demand Hugo and Rodrigo’s release were arrested.

ICE action

We will continue fighting for Hugo & Rodrigo at their next hearing June 20th at 10AM, at ICE in SF.

And this Thursday, June 15, from 5-8pm, the Alameda County Immigration Legal & Education Partnership is hosting an ICE rapid response legal observer training. Sign up here and learn how to protect our communities from ICE!

Last Friday, thanks to community pressure, Claudia Rueda, a 22-year-old immigrants rights activist was released from detention after being held captive for over three weeks.

Now, more than ever, we must continue building people power to protect one another.
