Interfaith Pilgrimage for Palestine

Join Interfaith4Palestine on May 9, 2026 to walk in public witness calling for an end to military cargo shipments from Oakland to Israel.

As the drumbeat of war and profiteering grows louder, we walk in solidarity with the Oakland People’s Arms Embargo to proclaim: Divest from war. Invest in life.

‍Together we will journey 12 miles through Oakland, walking our prayers and embodying our shared conviction that every human life is sacred, and that peace with justice cannot be built through militarism.

This pilgrimage grows out of the global Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimages of 2024 and the Right of Return Pilgrimage in 2025. In this third year, we renew our collective call for an immediate arms embargo—locally and nationally.

Oakland Says No to Apartheid

PANEL DISCUSSION: Oakland Says No to Apartheid From South Africa to Palestine

⏰Sunday, March 29 | 3–5PM
📍First Unitarian Church: 685 14th St, Oakland

Join us for a panel discussion on the historic role that Oakland played in the global struggle against apartheid and imperialism. Hear about the legacy of local resistance against the South African apartheid regime, and how the movement lives on in the ongoing fight for a People’s Arms Embargo and divestment from Israel’s apartheid and colonial occupation.

Oakland has a proud legacy of resisting apartheid and systems of oppression, but today the Oakland Airport has been used to transfer of deadly cargo to Israel, sustaining the U.S.-Israeli genocide in Gaza. From the 1984 dockworkers’ strike against South African cargo to today’s Oakland People’s Arms Embargo, join us to explore how our city refuses to be a pipeline for war and aggression.

Fight Against Airline Greed ICE out of SFO

RSVP here

ICE is bringing its terror campaign to 14 airports across the country, and we're watching SFO closely.

No Bay Area airports are on the list to receive the additional ICE agents Trump is deploying during the partial government shutdown. But the aggressive detention of a woman at SFO this weekend signals a potential escalation of ICE activity at SFO. We are not looking away.

The airline industry helped fund this. They backed the "Big Beautiful Bill," handing ICE $75 billion to carry out this violence. And they did it while the immigrant workers who keep their flights moving are paid poverty wages.

Airlines profit from immigrant labor. They don't get to stay silent while that same labor force is terrorized.

Workers who make SFO fly deserve dignity. Not exploitation. Not deportation. Not fear.

On No Kings, stand with us.

From Rapid Response to Permanently Organized

We’ve long known that the system is collapsing.

And fascism is the “wrong answer to the right question” about how we’ll survive the present and coming catastrophes.

Fighting back against the horrific violence of the state in this period through rapid response, mutual aid efforts, ICE patrols, and other emergent formations is essential, but only part of the solution. We need to develop our collective thinking about how we coordinate and scale these efforts up into the transformative change we need long-term.

Join a community discussion on how we make the shift from communities in rapid response to ones that are resilient and permanently organized.

Demand SFPD Stop Standing Guard for ICE

When ICE agents violently seized a mother and her young daughter at SFO on Sunday, several SF Police officers were on scene - standing guard for ICE.

While some details of this terrible incident are still coming to light, one thing is clear. SFPD’s complicity in ICE’s abuses violates San Francisco’s Sanctuary Ordinance as well as SFPD’s own policies.

Join the FREE SF Coalition for a rally this Wednesday, March 25 at 12:00 pm in front of SFPD headquarters (1245 3rd Street, San Francisco) to:

  • Demand that SFPD stop standing guard for ICE while it rips families apart

  • Demand the truth about how deep SFPD’s collusion with ICE goes.

QUDS DAY: NO TO U.S. INTERVENTION!

  • Embarcadero Plaza San Francisco, CA, 94105 United States (map)

This Quds Day, our communities unite in protest against the U.S.-Israeli expansion of the genocide in Gaza into an all-out regional war.

Every year on the last Friday of the Islamic Holy month of Ramadan, people around the globe pour into the streets to stand for justice in support of Palestinians and all oppressed people. Quds Day is a global day against imperialist and Zionist war and aggression — a day of solidarity and unity for Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, and beyond — uplifting the peoples’ right to liberation, sovereignty, and self-determination.

Already, over a thousand people have been killed as a result of the U.S. and Israel warmongering in the region, while the genocide in Gaza and Israel’s terrorization of Palestinians all over Palestine continues. People of conscience won’t stand by while the U.S. and Israel seek to spread terror and claim more lives as Trump and the billionaires of the Epstein class cheer.
