Oakland judge says Gaza genocide case will be ‘the most difficult judicial decision I’ve ever made’

After hours of testimony Friday about the horrors being suffered by Palestinians in Gaza, a federal judge in Oakland said a ruling on whether to allow a suit against President Joe Biden, for allegedly enabling genocide by Israel, may be “the most difficult judicial decision that I’ve ever made.”

What U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White must decide is whether, as lawyers for the Biden administration contend, the case involves a political issue that must be resolved by the executive branch of government and not the courts.
